Project after project, Édouard Boyer (born in 1966, lives in Paris) programs his own disappearance and his presentation describes the limit between what is still visible and what is not.

He calls this frontier L'horizon des évènements.

Missing develops a display of portraits after a fictional disappearance. Nicolas Carré is a series of appearances in the press under a borrowed identity. Bio-Tax turns Édouard Boyer inactive and invisible. With Le Geste 1 he delegates the work of creation and publication. For De la réalité, he asks a company specialised in polls (TNS Sofres), to question our relationship with reality. He then distributes the results of the inquiry in a public place, on the JCDecaux publicity panels and in the media.

The film L'horizon des évévements presents, through a succession of different displays, the totality of the realisations, in their previous forms and in their current reactivations. A series of panoramic tracking shots shows a series of possible exhibitions accompanied by a rapid evolution of displays in the white cube of La BF15.

So, for every observer of these events and for these events themselves, Édouard Boyer places himself beyond this horizon, as a simple eventuality.
