Part of the 2014 biennale Musiques en Scène

Anne Sophie Bosc and Géraldine Kouzan (born in 1979 and 1980, live in Paris) focus on the question of migration across the globe.

Their first collaboration Unfolding – Taipei shows the different facets of the question, in order to evoke its complexity. They have chosen to create a space between documentary reality and fiction, to give form to uncertainty. This creation is the opportunity for a new collaboration between La BF15 and the Grame (National centre for musical creation) within the framework of the biennale Musiques en Scène.

In contrast to the fictional and distant universe of this proposal, Romain Boulay (born in 1978, lives in Nantes) and Julien Mijangos (born in 1976, lives in Chanac) bring us back to La BF15’s immediate area through a series of in situ actions.

While Julien Mijangos boosts architecture by introducing his Forme déduite autour d'un axe, Romain Boulay intervenes by duplicating it with his Tentatives de destruction.

Unfolded, turned over, unstructured, virtual or real, the territories of a city as exhibition become, for those who occupy it, those of the possible.

Unfolding – Taipei is coproduced by Grame/biennale Musiques en scène Biennale, Taipei Digital Art Center de Taipei, ENSBA Lyon
in partnership with the city of Lyon, French office in Taipei, and Audiovisual & Lighting for Event
