La BF15, the Galerie des Projets, the Lycée Sainte-Marie Lyon and the Lyon Museum of Contemporary Art come together to pay tribute to Georges Adilon (1928 – 2009, Lyon).

The event, consisting of a film, a round-table discussion, four exhibitions, guided tours and a professional meet-up, evokes the painter, the artist and the architect.
The multiple facets of the artists are shown, ranging from communal spaces to more intimate projects, from objects to houses, from drawings to paintings. Each exhibition venue draws the portrait of a man who, thanks to his free and daring research inspired by humanism, emerged through his creations, as one of the major artists of the twentieth century. The studio of Georges Adilon remains a reflection of his work, a universe presents traces of every moment of his creation, from his first paintings to the last, from his architectural drawings to the models, from the barrier projects to the windows, lamps, handles, etc. The collages on the walls show his figurative thinking. The entire area makes up part of a unique work, from floor to ceiling.
This space, so exceptional, is evoked at La BF15 in the form of a portrait, where all is jumbled together: his dark period paintings, design and furniture elements, photographs, notes, drawings, books, etc.
