Jean-Daniel Berclaz organized two “observation point art openings” in Lyon: one under the Kirchner Bridge on a rainy evening, presenting the undersides of three bridges, which converge at this location, as sculptures and architecture; the other on the footbridge, the passerelle aux quatre vents, in the Parc des Hauters in Fouvière, an aerial landscape in full sunlight. These intimate moments, alone, designate the landscape, and transform the world, through film and photography along with the collection from his “Musée du Point de Vue,” into a readymade signed by the artist. At the BF15, he presented his complete photographic works on this theme beginning in 1998, while his complete cinematographic works were shown at Subsistances.
